South Carolina DECA
State Action Team 66
Approximately 200 state and chapter officer teams from across the US attended the State Officers
Leadership Conference in Washington, D. C., in July. Check out the SC DECA Newsletter for more
information on the conference and our work at the conference. We spent one day on Capital Hill
visiting our congressmen. We especially enjoyed our visit with House Member Joe Wilson. For three
days we attended workshops designed to create better state officer teams and assist us with our
planning for this year. A highlight of the conference was our scavenger hunt which took us across
Washington! Check out some of our pictures below. We are excited about this year and our Program
of Work for SC DECA and look forward to meeting and working with all our chapters in South Carolina.
