SC DECA SHINES IN ATLANTA!
DECA's 62nd International Career Development Conference was held in Atlanta, Georgia, this past
April with over 15,000 in attendance. South Carolina DECA was represented by 200 plus members
who came to Xperience the Difference! It was absolutely the best conference of our state. Our
competitors received the most recognition we have seen in years. First round of competitions were
held on Sunday, April 27, and Monday, April 28. The following individuals received recognition for
their top scores during the Mini-awards ceremony on Tuesday, April 29.

Gold Certification for School Based Enterprise was awarded to Wando HS DECA. Wendy Enis's
presentation for the School Based Enterprise was selected to be featured on the SBE website this
coming year.
